Job Summary
The Corporate Finance-Transaction Advisory Consultant will support BRG's Corporate Finance – Transaction Advisory client service teams on buy and sell side diligence engagements. Key responsibilities include leading the preparation of reports and client deliverables, performing financial trend analysis, quality of earnings assessments, and collaborating with colleagues and clients to achieve engagement objectives. Candidates require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of relevant consulting experience, demonstrating strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. This position mandates a willingness to travel up to 40%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting from a leading university
- 3-5 years’ prior work experience in consulting or professional services
- Strong data analysis skills and problem solving abilities
- Desire and ability to manage processes and other staff
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently on smaller transactions
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with Big Data analysis, Data Visualization, and/or Business intelligence tools
- Familiarity with financial research tools (e.g. Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.)
- Ability to understand legal documents and complex agreements
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing work demands
