Job Summary
Corporate Finance Manager at Jardine Matheson head office; initial 36 months will be in Treasury and Investor Relations, delivering major analytical work including financial modeling, management papers, and analytical reports to support treasury, financing, portfolio monitoring, and investor relations. Works closely with the Head of Treasury & IR and the JM finance team, with exposure to bank markets, debt and equity capital markets, and investor relations tied to strategic priorities. Builds relationships with senior Treasury & Finance teams across Jardine portfolio companies and participates in executive development to enhance leadership capabilities. Cantonese language ability is an advantage; experience with Asian markets and multinational environments is highly valued. Proficiency with Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, and Excel required; strong English and other Asian-language communication skills preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Banking and/or corporate finance background, treasury experience a plus
- Degree holder, accounting and/or financial analyst qualifications will be strong plus
- 7-9 years of post-qualification experience
- Corporate or investment banking, markets or treasury related experiences
- Experience working with Asian markets or exposure to Asia-focused businesses preferred
- Numerate, able to think strategically
- Financial modeling skill is a requirement
- Understanding of basics of financial markets, corporate finance principles, listed companies’ valuation
- Ability to use basic financial tools e.g. Bloomberg terminal, CapitalIQ, excel and produce high quality presentation materials
- Ability to work under tight timeline and handle complex analytical work as and when required
- Excellent communication skills in English and other Asian languages is a strong plus (preference for Cantonese, Mandarin, Bahasa, Vietnamese, Burmese)
