Job Summary
Corporate Finance Associate participates in transaction execution alongside veteran bankers and senior management clients, performing detailed financial statement modeling, extensive valuation and pricing analyses, and creating confidential memoranda, management presentations, and marketing pitches. Responsibilities include coordinating due diligence, conducting industry research and comparable company analyses, training and developing analyst-level bankers, and maintaining direct client contact while supporting engagement planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
- MBA or 2-3 years of investment banking experience
- Strong analytical and modeling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- FINRA Series 79, 7 and 63
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet research
- Ability to work in a team environment and under tight deadlines
- Ability to learn accounting rules and financial valuation methodologies
- Strong client management and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and quality of work
- Experience with industry research and valuation methodologies
