Corporate Finance & Accounting Development Program Analyst/Associate

Job Summary
Conduct rotations through Line of Business Support, Shared Services, the Corporate Controller's Office, and areas including Investor Relations, Tax, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Provide strategic counsel, meaningful reporting, and critical financial insights to drive business results. Manage critical processes such as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis while delivering accurate, reliable, and timely regulatory and risk information. Perform accounting tasks including GAAP compliance, internal and external reporting, variance and profitability analyses, reconciliations, and data analytics. Work under supervision with limited approval authority while networking with finance professionals at various organizational levels. Complete formal learning activities and participate in social learning through mentoring and job shadowing.
Required Qualifications
- Preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Preferred business relevant majors (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics)
- Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered

Desired Qualifications
- Professional experience that satisfies the requirements of the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy can be provided to those who are interested in their CPA certification
- The CPA certification is eligible for reimbursement through PNC while in Corporate Finance & Accounting
