Job Summary
Lead corporate event production by overseeing pre-show planning, budgeting, and on-site execution across various facilities. Proactively manage joint strategic account planning to set performance objectives and financial targets, while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to address customer needs. Develop project timelines, workflows, and estimates to meet or exceed financial goals, ensuring accurate revenue and cost identification. Assess risks, validate customer requirements, and drive process improvements while maintaining high satisfaction ratings. Represent the company at industry association functions and adapt to varying settings, including nights, weekends, and event floors, with potential 50%+ travel.
Required Qualifications
- Potential Travel 50%+
- Remote position, but to be located within an hour of a GES facility
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Opportunity to work nights, weekends, holidays as required, and at showsite
- Position may require long hours during several months of the year
- Typically performs work on the event floor, in noisy and crowded areas
- Frequently encounters uncomfortable temperatures, dust and/or other conditions
- Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere
- Requires working with union and non-union employees
Desired Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- 3-7 years event production, corporate account management, related agency and/or official services contractor experience preferred
- Experience working with various graphic substrates and different exhibit systems such as Octanorm, beMatrix, and Agam preferred
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings a plus
