Corporate Environmental Manager

Job Summary
Develop and maintain the corporate Environmental Management System, including policies, procedures, and site-level roles. Lead periodic management reviews of environmental performance and drive standardization across all sites. Maintain a centralized inventory of permits and interpret federal, state, and local regulations for stormwater, SPCC, air, and waste requirements. Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and support response to inspections and corrective actions. Collaborate with manufacturing sites to establish environmental expectations, provide technical guidance, and conduct internal audits. Manage environmental consultants and laboratories while ensuring consistency and cost-effectiveness of outsourced services. Identify environmental aspects and impacts, track metrics, and proactively reduce risk through continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
- Experience building and implementing environmental management systems
- Ability to travel as required
- Pass results of a 10-panel drug screening, including marijuana

- Experience administering and auditing environmental programs
- Hands-on experience managing and/or auditing in an industrial setting
- Experience collaborating and working with internal and external Legal Counsel and consultants
- Ability to work effectively with plant leadership, operations teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
