Job Summary
Manage the full WAN lifecycle for Defense Logistics Agency, including developing requirements, designing network maps, and executing technology refreshes for NIPR and SIPR systems. Perform laboratory assessments of hardware and software to ensure connectivity between DLA WAN, NOC, and DISA NOCs, while coordinating with Task Order PMs and government users to validate solutions. Generate design drawings, After Action Reports, and formal documentation for executive briefings, and evaluate emerging network capabilities and standards. Provide Tier II/III troubleshooting support for IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS protocols, ensuring interoperability across classified and unclassified networks.
Required Qualifications
- Secret Clearance with IT-I eligibility
- Active CCNP Enterprise
- Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or higher certification; Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) certification within 60 days after start
- One of the following DoD 8570 Baseline IAT Level III certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
- Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience in the following: Deployment of WAN networks, Deployment of a separate Pulse Secure Remote Access VPN architecture, Support the design and implementation of WAN equipment on the NIPR and SIPR, Technology refreshes and upgrades, Wireless technologies, IPv6 transition and transition, Tier III network troubleshooting, Provide network engineering services to support the full WAN lifecycle including design, implementation, instal...
