Job Summary
Conduct targeted research on companies in the alternative protein industry and maintain records in GFI's Company Database, Salesforce, and other internal systems. Draft case studies highlighting best-in-class market examples and compile background briefs, engagement summaries, and tailored talking points for stakeholder meetings. Update tracking documents with investment information and identify key employees at target organizations relevant to strategic goals. Support the Corporate Engagement team with ad-hoc research projects and resource development as assigned. This part-time role involves 30 hours per week for 12 weeks, reporting to the Corporate Specialist and Senior Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Based in the United States
- Experience with databases such as Salesforce and Airtable
- Strong research and writing skills, including market and corporate research
- An analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize research findings into actionable insights
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience or strong interest in the food industry
- Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to leverage LinkedIn to find and connect with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and potential partners at target organizations
