Job Summary
Director of Robotics program at Emory Healthcare responsible for overseeing the robotic surgery program across the organization, providing strategic, operational, financial and clinical leadership; develops long-term vision for robotic surgery, chairs committees, develops credentialing guidelines, oversees day-to-day operations, policies, and quality reviews; ensures training of surgeons, nurses, and staff; leads technology acquisition and maintenance; participates in budget planning and revenue generation; collaborates with surgeons, administrators, and stakeholders to improve efficiency and outcomes; travels between operating units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in healthcare administration (MHA) or business administration (MBA).
- Experience: 7 years of robotics experience with 3 years in management
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities: This position involves both technical understanding and strong leadership qualities, allowing them to navigate complex challenges, drive innovation, and manage resources effectively.
