Job Summary
Lead cross-functional partnerships in travel partnerships within Chase's Corporate Development Travel, Dining, and Lounge team. Oversee end-to-end partnerships from opportunity identification to negotiation, contracting, launch, and post-deal performance. Develop partnership strategy, structure deals (term sheets, MFN/rate parity, SLAs, KPIs), and socialize implications with senior stakeholders. Independently lead negotiations with external partners, translate business objectives into commercial terms, and ensure adherence to policies and governance. Bring hands-on travel industry experience, strong financial acumen, contract literacy, and exceptional communication to drive value across card travel benefits, inventory, and customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Significant partnership, strategy, and deal execution experience
- Experience formulating business strategy, including structuring problems, completing analysis, and making recommendations
- Deep analytical skills, including understanding of common financial statements and ability to build financial models in Excel
- Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new or ambiguous situations without significant assistance
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate with senior internal and external stakeholders, including drafting persuasive business cases, term sheets, and negotiation briefs, and presenting clear recommendations.
- Proven experience in working across departments and lines of business within large organizations and fostering long-term relationships
- Demonstrated contract literacy; ability to read, interpret, and negotiate both commercial and key legal terms, collaborating closely with Legal while confidently leading redlines and resolving issues
