Job Summary
Corporate Development Officer responsible for growing corporate income by stewarding existing relationships and cultivating new partnerships. Key duties include delivering against income targets, identifying and securing partnerships (e.g., Charity of the Year, sponsorships), preparing proposals and partnership agreements, managing engagement opportunities (meetings, volunteering days, events), maximizing volunteering and pro bono opportunities, maintaining CRM records, monitoring industry trends, and supporting fundraising campaigns. Requires experience in fundraising or B2B account management, strong relationship-building, pipeline management, target-driven reporting, negotiation and presentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Location: Godstone, Surrey, UK. Contract: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours/week). DBS check and safeguarding considerations apply.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year in fundraising or B2B account management
- Ability to build strong, positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience working to income targets and managing pipelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report and proposal writing
- Good negotiation, influencing, and presentation abilities
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
