Job Summary
Lead corporate development projects for the entire group, managing M&A, divestiture deals, joint ventures, and business sales including listings for domestic and global initiatives. Research, analyze, and prepare documents and presentations to support project success while providing accurate reporting to top management, including the CEO. Guide and manage a team of eight members across investment banking, commercial banking, consulting, and financial advisory functions. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders such as management and business departments, as well as external legal, accounting experts, and financial advisors. This supervisory role within the Corporate Development Supervisory Department is designed for an executive candidate with the potential to lead the organization in the future.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in M&A related operations at business company or securities/investment firm
- Management experience (even in a small group)
- Strong communication skills, including negotiation, coordination, and relationship-building skills
- High commitment to work
- Japanese (native level)
- English (at least a level that enables business communication/negotiation)
- TOEIC score of 800
