Job Summary
Hybrid Corporate Development Associate based in South Charlotte, NC, with HQ presence and a US-based structure. You’ll own and build first-draft financial models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) plus standard valuation analyses, maintain the M&A deal pipeline, screen targets for strategic fit and financial profile, coordinate cross-functional workstreams (Finance, Legal, HR, Tax, Operations), prepare memos and executive-facing decks, translate complex analyses into clear recommendations, conduct industry and competitive research, manage diligence trackers and data room, and support post-close integration and portfolio reviews. The role requires 1-2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, strong financial modeling skills, meticulous attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple workstreams under tight deadlines, and high proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CapIQ, and AI-based tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years' experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate development
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, CapIQ, and AI-based tools
