Job Summary
Corporate Development Associate will drive and support financial and strategic initiatives by building financial models, evaluating capital allocation opportunities, and preparing investor and board presentations. Responsibilities include supporting equity and debt capital markets activity, tracking market trends, conducting due diligence for M&A and strategic transactions, and contributing to planning and market analysis. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven business case development, and communication of insights to senior leadership; preferred experience includes energy/infrastructure transactions and advanced degrees or certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, business, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, corporate development, or a related area
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with demonstrated experience in financial modeling & valuation
- Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles
- Familiarity with AI tools/emerging technologies to enhance research, analysis, and workflow efficiency
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills; able to present complex analysis clearly to senior audiences
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
- Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in capital markets
