Job Summary
Lead day-to-day portfolio management and risk oversight for Morgan Stanley's US corporate credit financing portfolio within the FID Secured Lending group. Responsibilities include evaluating new transactions and amendments, assessing asset quality and counterparty risk, creating risk analytics and stress testing frameworks, performing market intelligence and asset-level research, conducting periodic business reviews, and providing reporting to FSL senior leadership. The role involves collaborating with Credit Risk and Capital Markets, mentoring junior asset managers, and fostering accountability and collaboration across functions in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience at Banks, Buy Side Firms or Rating Agencies
- Degree from competitive undergraduate / graduate program
- Excellent analytical and data management skills (Excel, modeling, database management)
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Experience reading and understanding loan documents
- Strong understanding of financial statements and financial accounting
