Job Summary
Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including NDAs, customer service agreements, vendor contracts, and real estate leases. Collaborate with outside counsel on legal matters and support business divisions in day-to-day commercial transactions and operational needs. Assist with global and regional governance, risk assessment, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and company policies. Conduct compliance training sessions for employees and maintain organized records of legal documents. Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations impacting the company's operations. Provide legal guidance on industry-specific issues, including maritime regulations. Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar or eligibility to be admitted as NJ in-house counsel.
- 2-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate law, commercial contracts, or related fields.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Maritime industry experience is preferred but not required.
