Job Summary
Draft and negotiate complex agreements across supply, packaging, equipment, private label, manufacturing, lease, real estate, service, license, IT, warranty, and confidentiality matters. Manage contracts, product warranties, product literature, and litigation while establishing professional relationships with Procurement, Sales, Operations, R&D, Technical, Finance, and Human Resources. Report to the Senior Vice President and General Counsel, providing legal support and training to employees through regular travel to Sika's businesses in the United States. Licensed to practice law in New Jersey with 2-5 years in corporate, commercial, and product liability law.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements including supply, packaging, equipment, private label, manufacturing, lease, real estate, service, license, information technology, warranty, and confidentiality agreements
- Establishing and maintaining valuable professional working relationships with all departments, such as Procurement, Sales, Operations, R&D, Technical, Finance, and Human Resources
- Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey
Desired Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience in Corporate, Commercial, and Product Liability Law
- Basic Understanding of Corporate Finance/Accounting
- Able to develop an understanding of Sika's products, technologies, and business strategies
- Able to regularly travel to Sika's businesses in the United States to provide legal support and training to Sika employees
- Highly motivated, goal oriented, and willing to work in fast-paced environment
- High Energy Level

- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
