Job Summary

Assess federal, state, and local regulatory requirements including FDA, OSHA, EPA, NRC, DOJ, and DOT to interpret developments and recommend practical compliance solutions. Draft, review, negotiate, and execute routine business documents, contracts, and agreements while advising executives on legal risks, regulatory considerations, and business terms. Lead the Regulatory department, supervise staff, and provide legal guidance on clinical instrumentation and pre-litigation matters to minimize organizational risk. Partner with departmental leaders to implement compliance actions, strengthen internal governance, and develop training solutions to address regulatory knowledge gaps.

Required Qualifications

  • A Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved law school
  • At least 4 years of legal experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to research, interpret, and summarize laws, regulations, statutes, and related legal requirements
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulatory frameworks, including FDA, EPA, OSHA, NRC, DOJ, and related requirements
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and interpreting business contracts, agreements, and related legal documents
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate risk, interpret data and regulatory trends, and recommend practical solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, customers, executives, and business partners across disciplines and organizational levels
  • Ability to travel as required, generally on a quarterly basis
