Job Summary
Corporate Counsel is responsible for supporting the company's legal operations, focusing on general corporate matters, regulatory compliance, insurance, and vendor contract negotiations. Key responsibilities include overseeing construction and infrastructure-related legal matters, negotiating and drafting energy and vendor contracts, and assisting with compliance regarding domestic and international privacy laws. The position requires a hands-on, self-starter approach, strong initiative without direction, and the ability to effectively manage outside counsel and third parties. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills and a disciplined, detail-oriented work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor with strong academic credentials
- Currently registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority
- Three or more years of legal experience as a practicing lawyer working in a construction/infrastructure transactional practice
