Job Summary
Structure, negotiate, and draft commercial and technology agreements including NDAs, software licenses, and system access agreements from both customer and vendor perspectives. Design, implement, and update template client agreements while advising on corporate governance practices and supporting human resource personnel. Provide legal advice and support to internal clients on day-to-day commercial and corporate generalist matters within a small, collegial legal team. Manage cross-border business matters across the USA, EMEA, and APAC regions, with flexibility to work varying hours necessary for performance. Requires 8-10 years of relevant experience in corporate/commercial practice, an attorney in good standing, and strong business acumen with hands-on execution.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years relevant experience in corporate/commercial practice of US law firm and/or in-house
- Attorney in good standing
- Law degree from a well-regarded law school
- Experience with cross border business, including USA and APAC
- Experience in technology product procurement, especially market data and exchange connectivity
- Knowledge of hardware and software licensing agreements
