Job Summary
Manage litigated matters in partnership with external legal counsel and handle disputes lodged with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. Provide legal advice and support to Claims, Underwriting, Risk, and Compliance teams while delivering training and guidance to stakeholders. Partner with other Legal teams to review product documentation and commercial agreements. Admission to practise law in Australia with at least 3 years' post qualification experience and experience working within financial services or another regulated industry is required. This hybrid role supports TAL's mission to help Australians live a life filled with choices, options, and freedoms for longer.
Required Qualifications
- Admission to practise law in Australia
- at least 3 years' post qualification experience
- Experience working within financial services or another regulated industry
- Knowledge of insurance law and its practical application in a business environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Law
