Job Summary
Corporate Counsel in Gurgaon responsible for providing legal services to ISS STOXX and its subsidiaries, with a focus on drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex commercial agreements including professional services and licensing agreements; provide legal advice to global teams on contracts, corporate law, regulatory requirements, product development, and compliance; structure, draft, review, analyze, and negotiate services and license agreements, assist with template updates, perform legal research, and support subsidiary management.
Required Qualifications
- LL.B. degree from a leading Indian law university or internationally recognized foreign law school
- Enrollment in good standing with an Indian State Bar Council (where applicable)
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience at a top law firm and/or as in-house counsel
- Ability to review, analyze, and draft contract provisions for complex commercial agreements with clients, vendors, and third parties
- Ability to lead negotiations of complex commercial agreements and collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments
- Desire and flexibility to support a global business
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal client relationships
