Corporate Counsel (Franchise Law) - Madison, NJ

Draft and negotiate franchise agreements, review marketing materials for compliance, and advise senior management on strategic matters regarding franchise sales, renewals, and disputes. Apply in-depth knowledge of federal and state franchise laws to guide business clients on risk management and goal attainment while partnering on key strategic initiatives. Proactively identify potential issues early and oversee substantive work of junior lawyers and para professionals. This role interfaces with shared service departments including Finance, HR, and Compliance, and coordinates with corporate legal functions such as Litigation, IT, and Intellectual Property. Based in Madison, NJ, NYC, Beverly Hills, or San Francisco, the position requires a JD and seven years of franchise law experience.
