Job Summary
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, leases, and transaction documents across project development, acquisitions, and financing. Assist business teams in identifying legal risks, managing due diligence, and coordinating with outside counsel to facilitate closings. Support contract administration, permitting, regulatory diligence, and corporate governance matters while providing legal guidance to development, finance, and executive leadership teams. Manage outside counsel and specialized consultants as assigned by the General Counsel. This early-career attorney role offers broad exposure to renewable energy law within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment focused on solar and battery storage projects across the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in renewable energy, project development, commercial real estate, construction, infrastructure, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, or commercial contracting.
- Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Familiarity with solar, battery storage, transmission, or other energy infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional business teams.
- Prior law firm or in-house legal department experience.
