Job Summary
Axon is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support the global sales organization by structuring, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for Axon’s goods, services, and SaaS solutions; drafting and updating template language, risk analyses, and policies; and leading contract lifecycle management efforts. The role includes supervising Contracts Managers, collaborating with Sales, Supply Chain, Software and Hardware Engineering, Product and IT, and advising on regulatory compliance and other legal requirements. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ, Boston, MA, or NYC with a hybrid schedule (onsite Tue–Fri; remote Mon).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience (in-house preferred) negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts
- Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume of commercial contracts, including SaaS, hardware, and services
- Experience negotiating intellectual property licensing and ownership agreements
- JD and member in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- Experience designing, implementing, and administering contract lifecycle processes
- Experience supporting large and dynamic organizations
- Experience negotiating international agreements
