Job Summary
Provide comprehensive legal counsel on cloud security, regulatory, and compliance matters while advising on emerging global cybersecurity regulations and shaping public policy strategy. Serve as a subject matter expert on security commitments in cloud enterprise agreements and lead negotiations for technology, intellectual property, and data licensing across inbound and outbound initiatives. Support the global security response team with nuanced legal perspectives, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving capabilities in ambiguous scenarios. Engage with security teams to navigate intricate legal landscapes and develop new approaches to cloud security.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience in oral and written communication
- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
- Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
