Job Summary
Structure, draft, and negotiate complex distribution, development, licensing, production, marketing, and commercial agreements for Amazon Music. Provide ongoing legal counsel covering intellectual property, digital media, and regulatory compliance, with some travel required. Manage multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines while addressing ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context. This role supports Amazon's immersive audio entertainment service, deepening connections between fans, artists, and creators through personalized playlists, exclusive podcasts, and concert livestreams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- 6+ years of Technology Law experience
- Deep understanding of consumer law and regulations impacting subscription businesses
