Job Summary
Attorney to support AECOM’s Advisory Services business line, providing guidance on risk management and the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of complex professional services agreements (including master services agreements and statements of work) for public and private sector clients. Serves as the primary legal partner to consulting and advisory teams across strategy, transformation, infrastructure advisory, and related engagements; supports client pursuits, contract negotiations, and deal structuring; translates legal issues into actionable business guidance for senior leaders; prepares disclosures and supports corporate secretary functions; analyzes legislation and precedents; manages external counsel and litigation budgets. Travel approximately 10%; hybrid work arrangement with potential base in multiple locations (notably New York, NY).
Required Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Bar in good standing with any U.S. state bar
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in advisory, engineering, professional services, construction law
- Demonstrated drafting and negotiation experience involving professional services and construction-related agreements
- Ability to travel periodically - approximately 10%
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
