Corporate Counsel – Advisory Services (Hybrid)

Corporate Counsel – Advisory Services (Hybrid) at AECOM provides dedicated legal support to the Advisory Services business line, partnering with leadership and project teams across public and private sector engagements. Responsibilities include guiding risk management and policy adherence; structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex professional services agreements (including master services agreements, statements of work, and teaming arrangements); supporting multiple offices and advising consulting and advisory teams; serving as the primary legal partner across strategy, transformation, infrastructure advisory, and related engagements; assisting with client pursuits, contract negotiations, and deal structuring; translating legal issues into actionable business guidance for senior leaders; preparing disclosures to public agencies and supporting corporate secretary functions; researching legislation and precedents relevant to advisory and contract matters; preparing legal memoranda and briefs on organizational risks; managing pre-litigation disputes and external counsel budgets; and maintaining relationships with external counsel. Minimum requirements include a JD and bar standing, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience and travel ability; sponsorship for US work authorization is not available, and relocation assistance is not offered.
