Job Summary
Financial Controller Associate on JPMorgan Chase's Financial Control team, focused on ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the Firm’s books and records with emphasis on the general ledger, operating systems, and infrastructure controls across the full lifecycle. Responsibilities include ensuring GL accuracy and substantiation per GLRS standards, supporting P&L and Balance Sheet controls, analyzing variances between the GL and upstream systems, and contributing to month-end close processes and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of related experience
- General Ledger, financial reporting and month-end close responsibilities experience
- Able to build and maintain partnerships within the various product aligned businesses and across other corporate financial, treasury, and accounting groups
- Able to understand business drivers and requirements and influence middle and front office partners to deliver solutions to business issues and problems
- Able to critically challenge with the goal of identifying control issues
- Comfortable liaising with business and finance partners
