Job Summary
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings for a multilocation RV dealership group, ensuring accurate GAAP reporting and audit readiness for a 2029 IPO. Directly supervise the Accounting Manager, define segregation of duties across A/P, A/R, payroll, and inventory, and manage the transition to PCAOB standards. Lead internal control frameworks, SOX compliance, and external audit coordination while partnering with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and covenant reporting. Drive system improvements for ERP integrity and introduce pre-IPO documentation discipline. Manage annual financial audits, tax compliance, and dealership-specific accounting including deal posting, warranty reserves, and inventory valuation.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in accounting or finance
- Certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of accounting teams
- Drug free - must pass a drug test
- Legally able to work in the USA we are an E-Verify employer
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, if the organization operates extended hours
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree in business administration (MBA)
- Prior dealership accounting experience (auto/RV/powersports/marine)
- Multistore experience
- Publiccompany, SOX, IPO readiness, or PCAOB audit experience
