Job Summary
Corporate Controller will oversee all aspects of accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and strict adherence to policies. Responsibilities include leading monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP; overseeing payroll for 60 employees; managing intercompany billings across multiple industries; ensuring tax compliance; leading the internal audit program and coordinating with external auditors; maintaining internal controls; overseeing fixed asset inventory across automotive, real estate, and advertising holdings; and providing executive-level analysis and reports for senior management. The role requires deep GAAP knowledge, experience with multi-entity structures, payroll administration, tax processes, and strong Excel and ERP/DMS skills, with a focus on process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5–7 years of progressive, hands-on accounting and financial management experience
- Experience managing multi-entity/intercompany billings
- Experience with full-cycle corporate payroll processes
- GAAP knowledge
- Fixed asset tracking
- Use tax regulations
- Internal audit methodologies
- Excel proficiency
- ERP or Dealer Management Systems (DMS) experience
