Job Summary
Manage the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting for a commercial real estate firm, leveraging expertise in MRI Software and cash management. Lead a small accounting team of three to four professionals while building internal controls and improving reporting processes. Deliver cash forecasting and financial analysis to support business growth within a collaborative, tenured finance environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Commercial real estate accounting experience
- Strong experience with MRI Software
- Cash management and cash forecasting experience
- Deep understanding of the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Experience building and improving reporting processes and internal controls
- Previous leadership experience managing a small accounting team (3–4 professionals)
- This is a fully in-office position based on Long Island, NY
