Job Summary
Develop internal and external communications materials, including newsletters, social media content, and stakeholder reports. Coordinate community events, support graphic design and videography scripting, and manage social media analytics. Observe crisis communications responses and government relations activities while assisting with strategy and key message development. Update filing systems and consolidate project materials. This four-month work term runs May 2027 through August 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule of eight hours per day.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your 3rd or 4th year of a degree program in Public Relations or Communications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to tone and clarity
- Creative thinking with the ability to develop engaging and effective content
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple priorities
- Collaborative and adaptable, with professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
- Must be available for the shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)
- Must be available for the term length: 4 months
- Must be available for the term start: May 2027
- Must be available for the job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is considered an asset
