Job Summary

Strategic corporate communications leadership responsible for creating plans and programs aligned with company goals and brand identity. Manage communications programs including content for town halls, keynotes, thought leadership, media opportunities, and internal/external presentations; build reporting around KPIs; oversee internal messaging (newsletters, intranet, company announcements); ensure editorial quality and brand voice; manage the internal communications content calendar and production of internal vlogs. Lead media relations including inquiries, press releases, and proactive outreach; monitor public perception and lead crisis communications; engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align communications with business priorities; mentor junior team members; develop content for websites, social media, and marketing materials; stay current on industry trends and ensure messaging is differentiated and market-relevant. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in the field, a degree in a related communications discipline, exceptional writing and editing skills, strategic thinking for executive visibility, experience building integrated internal plans, project leadership and mentorship experience, budgeting/vendor management experience, familiarity with social media and media monitoring tools, and proven success operating in a global organization. You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
  • 8+ years in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of corporate communications and executive visibility strategies
  • Demonstrated experience building integrated internal communication plans, including channel strategy, messaging frameworks and leader communication toolkits
  • Experience leading projects, managing, or mentoring team members
  • Demonstrated experience with budget management and vendor relations
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, website publishing and media monitoring software
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, matrixed global organization
  • Eligible for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
