Job Summary
Lead external corporate communications initiatives to strengthen brand perception and support key business priorities. Develop compelling messaging for announcements, milestones, and strategic company moments. Build and manage relationships with business, trade, and industry media outlets. Proactively identify opportunities for positive media coverage and executive thought leadership. Support executive visibility initiatives including speaking engagements, briefing materials, and event positioning. Lead reputation management and crisis communications efforts, including statements and media responses. Monitor media coverage, sentiment, and industry trends to inform proactive communications strategies. Own and evolve the corporate and executive LinkedIn presence, including content strategy and editorial planning. Create high-impact communications materials including press releases, talking points, presentations, and leadership messaging. Manage industry awards strategy, including nominations, submissions, and amplification of wins. Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, HR, Legal, and leadership teams to ensure aligned messaging and narrative consistency.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media relations
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities
- Proven experience in media relations, executive visibility, and reputation management
- Experience supporting crisis communications and complex narrative management
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence across senior stakeholders
- Experience within fast-paced, matrixed, or public company environments strongly preferred
- Strong judgment, agility, and ability to manage competing priorities
