Job Summary
Corporate Communications Leader responsible for delivering employee communications that drive engagement and strategic alignment across business units. Lead development and execution of strategic, integrated communications plans; write and edit content for internal channels (PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, intranet) and external channels (social media, website); partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure messaging supports company goals; manage a global communications calendar and deliver measurable ROI. Requires on-site presence five days per week in Niskayuna, NY. Candidates should have a BA/BS in a related field and 5+ years of experience in internal communications, strong writing and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Preferred qualifications include MBA or Master’s in a relevant discipline, global manufacturing experience, and experience engaging frontline workers.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience leading internal and employee corporate communications in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Superb verbal, writing, and presentation skills, with ability to capture key thoughts and communicate concisely
- Must use PowerPoint proficiently
- Demonstrated ability to leverage all communication vehicles and multimedia strategies
- Strong project management and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to simplify complex messages for a global audience
- Experience communicating with front-line workers is preferred
