Corporate Communications Intern (Spring 2027)

Job Summary
Manage media visits, community events, and internal/external gatherings. Prepare and edit news stories for the internal newspaper and website. Assist in planning, writing, and managing e-blasts, presentations, and online advertisements. Create graphic designs and marketing materials. Update bulletin boards and collaborate on cross-departmental campaigns like Diversity Week and the BMW Charity Pro-Am. Support corporate compliance and community relations initiatives. The work term runs January 11th – May 14th, 2027, with a full-time on-site commitment of 40 hours per week. Candidates must have a 3.0 GPA and submit writing samples.
Required Qualifications
- Pursing a degree in Communications or related major
- Possess excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written communication skills, providing 3-5 writing samples (short stories, essays, articles, etc.)
- Ability to balance changing priorities and meet deadlines
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term
