Job Summary
Corporate Communications and Employer Brand Associate role focusing on telling CloudFactory’s story across internal and external channels. Responsibilities include supporting internal/external communications strategies, aligning messages with business objectives, drafting announcements and newsletters, managing channels (e.g., Slack, newsletters), integrating employer branding into overall strategy, developing recruitment content with Talent Acquisition, building a content strategy for social media, and executing employer branding campaigns. Also responsible for partnerships with universities, local communities, and external organizations, campus engagements, events, and tracking impact metrics. Requires hands-on, organized communicator with storytelling and data-driven decision-making, plus experience in content creation (blogs, social media, videos) and tools like Canva. Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years in related roles, strong writing, interpersonal skills, and ability to measure effectiveness are desired; location is Nairobi, Kenya with in-person collaboration.”,
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in corporate communications, employer branding, marketing, or related roles
- Strong writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders
- Experience managing digital platforms, social media content strategies
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on communication effectiveness
- Experience running employee advocacy or engagement programs
- Basic design or multimedia content skills (Canva, video editing, etc.)
