Job Summary
Lead development and maintenance of configuration management documentation (plans, processes, procedures) and enforce CM policies across DoD simulation training programs. Coordinate changes, establish baselines, perform audits, and collaborate with Engineering on hardware drawings and software builds. Manage program CM managers, plan configuration activities for timely completion, develop process improvements, and ensure adherence to CM/DM processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field, 8+ years of experience in Configuration/Data Management, knowledge of CMMI and ISO 9001, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field
- Eight years of professional experience in Configuration and Data Management or related roles
- At least 1 year of experience in configuration/change management for software development of DoD simulation training systems
- Knowledge of CMMI and ISO 9001
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail in documentation and work
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
