Job Summary
Corporate Chef, Chain Accounts leads culinary strategy and sales support for national and regional restaurant chain accounts. Bridges culinary innovation, operator engagement, sales strategy, and commercialization to drive growth for clients and customers. Partners with sales, business development, category management, marketing, and operator teams to develop trend-forward, operationally executable solutions; translates culinary insights into profitable business growth; develops innovative menu concepts and test recipes; conducts culinary presentations, demonstrations, and operator meetings; collaborates with distributor sales teams and internal account managers to increase penetration; manages culinary projects from concept to commercialization; mentors culinary team members and maintains CRM/forecasting documentation; stays current on chain restaurant operations, food manufacturing, distribution, food safety, nutrition, and industry best practices; travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from a nationally recognized culinary school or equivalent culinary and foodservice operations experience preferred
- 7+ years of progressive experience in culinary, R&D, foodservice sales, corporate chef, or related roles
- Experience working with restaurant chains, food manufacturers, distributors, or foodservice brands preferred
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food manufacturing, distribution, food safety, and nutrition
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence decision makers, and work collaboratively with customers, distributors, and internal teams
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills, including recipe writing and client presentations
- Strong organizational, project management, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, client-focused, sales-driven mindset
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
