Job Summary
Serve as Pilot in Command on assigned domestic and international flights, exercising final authority for safe operation including weather, aircraft status, routing, and crew readiness. Plan and execute missions involving route analysis, permits, customs, and contingency planning while conducting preflight and postflight briefings. Lead the assigned crew, coordinate with maintenance, dispatch, and external partners, and confirm aircraft readiness and documentation before departure. Maintain high standards of passenger service, confidentiality, and professionalism throughout all phases of travel. Complete required flight, safety, maintenance, and expense records accurately. Maintain availability for a variable schedule including early departures, late arrivals, weekends, holidays, and overnight trips.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate with airplane multiengine land rating
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time, including at least 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command in multiengine airplanes and 700 hours in turbojet aircraft
- Substantial recent experience as Pilot in Command of multi-engine turbine aircraft
- Demonstrated international flight operations experience, including flight planning, regulatory coordination, and mission execution outside the United States
- Working knowledge of international procedures and requirements, including oceanic operations, customs and immigration processes, international trip planning, and coordination with foreign handlers and authorities
- Ability to identify and comply with regulatory and operational requirements applicable to international flight operations
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restriction
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Ability to reside within approximately one hour of the flight department hangar in Greeley, Colorado
- Ability to meet company requirements for employment, background screening, training, travel, and aircraft insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Bombardier Challenger 3500 type rating and recent operating experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in aviation, aerospace, business, or a related field
- Formal training in safety management systems, crew resource management, emergency response, or aviation leadership
- Portuguese-language proficiency
