Job Summary
Analyst in Global Corporate Banking focusing on Australian and New Zealand headquartered clients; originate and develop banking opportunities, assess client credit requests, collaborate with underwriting teams, and support deal execution across corporate finance, treasury services, and markets. Responsible for client relationship management, credit risk analysis, transaction structuring, documentation, and providing ongoing support to deal teams, with emphasis on cross-selling across Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, M&A, and related product partners. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year experience in corporate/investment banking, strong financial modeling and analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint; based in Sydney or Melbourne. The role emphasizes collaboration with bankers, product specialists, and stakeholders to originate opportunities and deliver financing and advisory services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience within Corporate Banking, Investment Banking with strong credit or corporate finance background
- Strong credit, analytical, and financial modeling skills
- Knowledge of corporate or investment banking products and execution experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated, productive team player with partnership and collaborative mindset
- Highly organized, detail-oriented with outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
