Corporate Banker – US Subsidiary Banking Coverage (German Portfolio) – Executive Director / Vice President

Job Summary
Lead coverage of German corporate banking clients’ US subsidiaries, coordinating with headquarters bankers and product partners across regions. Build and expand relationships with Treasurers and CFOs, originate dialogue at German HQ and US local levels, educate clients on JPMorgan’s corporate banking capabilities, and guide product teams to develop solutions across Payments, Trade, Derivatives, FX, custody, fixed income, and financing. Mentor junior bankers, conduct cross-functional reviews, ensure robust risk & control (KYC, AML, reputation risk), and travel frequently. Requires fluency in English and German, a strong track record of cross-cultural client coverage, and completion of relevant FINRA exams; Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred) with 7-12 years of Banking experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred; a minimum of 7-12 years of Financial Services / Banking experience required
- Fluency in English and German
- Must pass FINRA exams Series 79, 63 and SIE prior to or shortly after joining
- Experience living and working in Germany
- Willingness to travel frequently across the US and the globe as needed
- Ability to develop viable strategies to grow the overall business with this client set and execute them
- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships with corporate banking clients in the US and Germany
