Job Summary
Negotiate Customer MSAs, draft and review vendor agreements, and manage ad hoc legal projects while resolving customer contract disputes. Provide legal guidance on employee matters including contracts, disputes, and terminations, and oversee external law firms to ensure cost-effective, quality services. Maintain and update corporate contract templates such as NDAs, BAAs, and restrictive covenants. Collaborate on corporate policies like employee handbooks and remote work regulations to ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires a licensed Maryland attorney with 3-7 years of experience, ideally within tech or cybersecurity, to join CyberMaxx's in-house legal team.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- 3-7 years of experience as a corporate attorney
- Experience within a corporate in-house legal department or law firm specializing in corporate law
- Demonstrated experience using AI-powered legal technology to support contract drafting, review, and legal research
- Sound judgment about verifying AI-generated output and safeguarding client confidentiality
- Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills
- Experience with employment law, vendor agreements, and corporate governance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Experience managing external law firms and vendors
- Must be a licensed attorney in Maryland
