Job Summary
Review and prepare equipment lease and financing documents for Canadian business transactions. Evaluate and negotiate lease and financing contract terms while assuring compliance with Federal and Provincial regulations. Update contract terms to reflect legal requirements or new company policies. Perform legal research to advise internal clients in sales, finance, credit, and pricing teams. Work cooperatively with the international legal team and internal customers to support onboarding and business growth. Requires a JD from an accredited law school, called to the Quebec Bar, and fluency in French and English.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Called to the Quebec Bar
- under the Civil Code of Quebec
- 2-3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Must be fluent in French & English
