Job Summary

Lead the development and execution of integrated global communications strategies for MariTide across assigned obesity-related indications. Translate overarching corporate strategy into indication-specific narratives and key messages, driving communications for clinical data milestones and regulatory events. Partner with cross-functional teams in clinical development, medical, regulatory, and commercial functions to align launch planning and support the MARITIME clinical program. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across all channels while enabling regional and affiliate teams to implement global strategies. Advise colleagues on initiatives aligned with the MariTide and OaR narrative and contribute to internal communications to engage employees on product developments. This remote role based in the US includes occasional travel to Thousand Oaks Headquarters and key events.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree
  • 4 years of communications or public relation experience
  • Master's degree
  • 7 years of communications or public relation experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 9 years of communications or public relation experience
  • 10–12 years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate affairs within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated global communications strategies for investigational products, including clinical data, regulatory, and launch communications
  • Experience supporting product launches in a competitive market environment
  • Experience partnering with global affiliates to adapt communications strategies for local markets while maintaining strategic alignment
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across a highly matrixed organization, including executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate complex business and scientific information into clear, compelling communications that advance business objectives
  • Experience across multiple communications disciplines, including media relations, issues management, digital and social media, and internal communications
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong judgment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Occasional travel to Thousand Oaks Headquarters and key events
