Job Summary
Corporate Accounting Trainee will support the Finance teams in Brussels and Madrid across accounting, tax compliance, cash management, and financial reporting activities. Key duties include general accounting per Spanish GCP and IFRS, invoicing workflows, payroll postings, tax form preparation (IRPF, VAT), SII submissions, cash processing and direct debit administration, month-end closing, balance sheet and P&L analysis, accounts payable reviews, VAT treatment, and office administration for the Finance department. The role requires advanced Excel skills, SAP knowledge is a plus, and fluency in English plus French or Dutch. Collaborating with both Brussels and Madrid teams, the position offers hands-on experience in an international corporate accounting environment and opportunities for development within the finance function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Fluent English and French or Dutch (both written and spoken)
- Very high level of English and proficiency in Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus
