Job Summary
Conduct accurate and timely bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and business units to support the periodic close process. Process general ledger account reconciliations, prepare journal entries for gift cards, credit cards, and bank fees, and manage invoicing, cash receipts, and charity transactions. Resolve reconciling items, analyze cash activity variances, and set up required accounts for new store openings. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and aligned with accounting standards while assisting with annual audits and ad hoc reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- At least two years of general accounting or finance experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Must have strong experience with Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with advanced excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team or independent environment
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with all levels in the organization
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Oracle
- Knowledge of foreign exchange calculations and impact on financials for foreign entities
