Corporate Accountant

Execute month-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, reconciling schedules to support the general ledger, and managing bank reconciliations. Review general ledger accounts for large or unusual transactions, oversee the fixed asset management system, and assist with external audits related to banks, state, and federal requirements. Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns, monitor internal invoices for compliance, and submit periodic government surveys. Make check or cash deposits as necessary and record transactions in the general ledger. Complete additional projects and tasks assigned by management. This role supports the integrity of the Company's financial records and contributes to continuous process improvements within a 100% employee-owned distributor serving industrial and construction markets.
